Slip Out The Back Door
Next Time You Get Stuck In Cross Side Head 'n Arm Control
Slip Out The Back Door
Getting pinned on the bottom of the cross side is probably one of the most difficult positions in all of Jiu-Jitsu to escape,
especially when we allow our opponent to establish head and arm control.
The back door escape is a crucial escape to learn to be able to easily get out,
especially if your opponent is using shoulder pressure to turn your face.
The key detail here is how I swing my legs and use my elbow to create a ramp to get their body off me so I can slip out.
When you do this escape properly it feels effortless and your opponent will have the experience of you slipping out from their hold.
