If you'd like me to show you how to make your chokes so efficient, you only need 3-5% strength to have your opponents tapping for dear life, then this will be the most important page you ever read on chokes.

Here's why:

We just wrapped up the first year of my online jiu-jitsu coaching club, the “Mind Blown Club”.

The club was named by some of my students, who started following me around the country on my seminar tour, to make sure they didn’t miss a single minute of this “mind blowing” knowledge.

Now, the first year of the Mind Blown Club is done, and because so many people have written in telling me this knowledge has changed their entire understanding of jiu-jitsu, I realized I have to make it available to everyone.

So I’ve decided to make video downloads of the material you can watch anytime.

That may not seem like a huge deal to you, but members of the club had to wait 3 days between the release of each unit, the whole year long.

Every.

Single.

Month.

And some of the units are only 5 minutes long (or less).

Why such agonizing wait times?

I feel it's really important to make sure everyone takes the time to master the material before moving on.

It was frustrating, but necessary.

And it paid off.

Students have written in almost daily, all year long, to tell me about the incredible improvements in their jiu-jitsu.

Many have sent in videos of winning high-profile competition matches (Abu Dabhi, Gracie Worlds, etc.) with the techniques they’ve learned in the club.

And in a moment, I'll show you some screenshots of exactly what my students are saying.

But, while I am sincerely honored and blessed to say we could go on all day with stories of how this is changing lives all over the world...

For now, let’s get to what’s in the course.

Check out the previews and descriptions below for details. Prepare to be "mind-blown"!

This course covers 8 chokes, split into 18 units.

You'll also find an hour-long Q & A of me answering questions about each module, live!

Here’s what you’ll find in each unit:

The Guillotine (probably the most attempted submission in all of fighting)

Before we get to the details, there are two words you need to understand for this course to make sense.

Efficiency and effectiveness.

Efficiency in jiu-jitsu means using the least amount of strength to make something work, so you save your energy.

It’s extremely important to conserve energy in a fight, because you never know when the fight will be over until it's actually over.

And, if you run out of energy before then, you're in big trouble.

Effectiveness in jiu-jitsu is when a technique works even when your opponent is trying his best to stop you.

I will show you the hidden details to make your guillotine choke efficient and effective, and how to do this with all the chokes in the course!

For the guillotine, you will learn…

How to make your guillotine work against the guy with muscles bulging out of his head, the ‘beasts’ you see running around in gis everywhere now, even if you are smaller and weaker.

How to connect to the neck so you only need 3-5% pressure to be extremely effective. When you understand this, the guillotine and all your chokes will start to feel effortless.

When you should use the guillotine (and when not to) for the highest chance of success.

The first thing you should do, before you even think about the guillotine, when someone dives in for the takedown. (So many people do this wrong and it could really get you hurt in a fight).

Which part of your arm should be touching your opponent’s neck (probably not what you’re expecting).

Why a deep grip is counter-productive to your goal, even though it’s taught everywhere.

The most important detail of all: what to do with your elbow. If you get this wrong, it’s easy for your opponent to escape your guillotine. If you get it right, it’s almost impossible for your opponent to escape. (Hint: this is not the chin strap).

The simple reason why everyone escapes the guillotine so often in competitions and MMA, and how you can make it nearly impossible to escape your guillotine.

How this simple mechanical flaw, that is present in almost every other way of doing the guillotine, can be overcome with a single movement.

The hidden details that make it so the harder your opponent tries to escape, the more he will choke himself!

How the guillotine got its name, and what that has to do with the proper way to apply pressure.

The true, fundamental goal of the guillotine choke, that is almost never talked about.

A simple way to test your technique. You can use this test with your partner to ensure your guillotine is nearly impossible to escape, once it’s set up. It is very important you test your techniques like this with solid resistance, so you have confidence in them and trust your techniques when it’s time to use them.

Why you never want to use your hips for leverage with the standing guillotine – even though it’s one of the most commonly taught ways to do it.

How to make sure you’re applying pressure to the neck, and the carotid arteries specifically, not squeezing your opponent’s head. When you do this right, the choke should sneak up on them. Nobody should feel like their skull is a melon and you are trying to smash it like Gallagher.

The obvious reason it should never take much pressure to finish any choke. (Hint: it has to do with the fact there aren’t many natural defenses around the neck. There’s no big muscle, no hard bone… no nothing. It’s wide open for attack, and Henry will show you the most effective way.)

The single element that makes the difference between being efficient or not. It has to do with how you apply pressure, and Henry will show you exactly how to connect to the neck so every ounce of pressure you apply is transferred directly to your opponent’s carotid arteries. You will never need more than 5% of your strength when you “get” this. One of my students said it feels like he can finish his chokes now with “about as much pressure as it takes to pop a soap bubble”.

How to use a slight angle with your wrist to increase the effectiveness of this choke. It’s not 90 degrees, it’s not 45, it’s very slight. But when you apply it right, you will be amazed at how effective you can be using so little pressure.

It’s also worth mentioning for every module of instruction, there is a matching Q & A video.

In these Q & As, you’ll see questions other students had – and many times I will make sure to address the entire class when a question is asked.

The thing is – and you may already know this – if one person has a question, chances are more people have the same question, but for whatever reason, they might not ask.

Not on my watch.

I will not rest until I've done everything I can to make sure ALL of this information gets out to everyone.

Finally, you will also learn an important detail about Kron’s guillotine he used to finish Octavia Souza at Abu Dabhi. You can use this hidden detail the moment you learn it, and watch how it increases the effectiveness of your guillotine.

The Rear Naked Choke

This choke has been taught so many different ways, it’s hard to keep up with.

If you learn it my way, however, you will understand what Jack Tauffer said in his video of Rickson Gracie stories, about the “3 pressures” Rickson praised him for.

In the RNC module, you will see…

An example of a black belt attempting the RNC on me, and how easy it is for me to defend, without even using my hands or moving my body, because the 3 pressures are missing.

How to apply all 3 pressures effectively even when your opponent has his hands inside your choking arm to defend!

Where the elbow of your choking arm should be for the RNC to make it work every time.

Why you never want to reach your non-choking hand this way, and what to do instead.

Why the hand behind his head should make a fist, and where to put it.

Which direction to face the palm of your non-choking hand for maximum effectiveness.

Why you may want to do this with your own head, if you’re in a fight.

The goals of the RNC.

The only two motions you need to apply all 3 pressures flawlessly, and with almost zero effort.

How to get a good grip when it feels like your arm gets stuck.

How to practice this technique so you get perfect muscle memory, quickly.

Why you shouldn’t arch your back. It’s completely counter-productive and actually relieves the pressure of the choke. When you understand this, a huge light bulb will light up for you and your understanding of the concept of “connection” will deepen.

Why the RNC should have little to no effect on your opponent’s breathing when it’s done properly. If you’re gagging everyone with the RNC, your technique is sloppy and you need this course.

Why the typical defense for the RNC, which is to bring the hands inside and pull the arm away, is useless when you know how to apply the 3 pressures. Actually, you will choke them with their own hands, since their hands will be even closer to their neck than your arm, and the harder they try to defend, the quicker it will be lights out!

Why you should never drop your chin to defend the RNC – and the terrible thing that can happen if you do (trust me, it’s not worth it. You could be eating through a straw for months).

Why you don’t need to take a deep breath in and swell your chest to finish the choke. Actually, this is totally irrelevant when you understand how to properly apply what Rickson Gracie calls “the 3 pressures”.

Bow and Arrow Choke from The Back

THE most important detail for this technique. The success rate of the bow and arrow choke is built on this one detail, and this is not being taught anywhere else.

How many fingers you should grab the collar with, and which ones to use. (Hint: if you are using all four fingers, like when you make a fist, you are setting yourself up for failure.)

Why which fingers you use matters, and which body part rotates to either help or hurt your chance of success.

Why the choking arm should do zero pulling – actually there are two reasons, and each of them is equally important.

A completely effortless way to shut down the most common defense, and make your opponent feel like they are trying to grab a rope they can’t get a grip on, that just keeps slipping away, as they are helpless to stop it.

The very important reason you should not use any strength in your arms or chest when you attempt the bow and arrow from the back.

The motion you need with your choking arm to make the bow and arrow choke effective.

Which parts of your body should be connecting to your opponent’s neck to maximize the transfer of energy to the carotid arteries.

Which part of your torso to focus on rotating so the maximum amount of power is generated, with the least amount of effort. When you get this right, you will begin to get the sensation that if you put 100% into this choke, you will pop your opponent’s head clean off.

The most effective way to engage the non-choking hand. When you do this right, it shouldn’t take any more muscular effort than pointing to something.

Where you should look for maximum torque. Where your eyes go, your head and shoulders will follow, and this little detail will mean insane leverage for your bow and arrow. Trust me, your opponents will feel the difference.

Why your choking arm should be completely dead – like a wet noodle or a rope – if you want to make this choke effective.

How to make this choke work even when your opponent is pulling your choking arm down as hard as they can.

Why I never switches grips to grab the pant leg, and why I recommends you don’t either. It has to do with what I call a “superficial sense of control”. It’s pretty common sense when you think about it, but pretty mind-blowing to see the demonstration.

Why you should spend as much time as you need to set this up right, and not waste your energy if you don’t have the proper set-up.

Bow and Arrow Choke from Side Mount

[No preview - too many spoilers!]

Why I call this position the side mount, instead of the technical mount, or some of the other names commonly used. Also, why I call side-control “cross side”, even though sometimes it’s called side mount.

An interesting detail for the non-choking hand, commonly missed, that will help your bow and arrow choke from the back and from side-mount.

Which part of your body is most important to connect to your opponent to make this technique effective.

How to apply pressure and torque effectively, once that body part is connected to your opponent.

Why the grip does not change from the bow and arrow choke from the back, to the bow and arrow choke from side mount, and how to use this grip to apply pressure from both positions.

One thing you can do to increase your effectiveness with ANY jiu-jitsu technique (hint: it has to do with how our brains take in up to 80% of information from the outside world in a certain way).

North South Choke

[No preview - too many spoilers!]

The simple reason this is actually a one-arm choke. You don’t need to use two arms when you do this choke properly.

The reason I call the mechanics of this choke “beautiful”.

How to close up space around the neck, as you shift your weight toward your opponent’s head.

The best position to set up the North South Choke from.

The one thing your opponent will do from cross side that is a big green light to go for the North South Choke. Easily the best “window of opportunity” you can take advantage of.

Which way your opponent’s chin should be facing to finish this choke, and how to force it if it’s not already there.

How to use your entire body to finish this choke.

What to do with the elbow of your choking arm to make sure you don’t lose connection with his head (if you lose connection as you wrap your arm, he has a big opening to escape. If you keep connection, there’s very little chance he will escape.)

How to make sure 100% of the pressure is going into his neck, and not his chest or head.

One thing you can do to make it very difficult for your opponent to turn his chin and look away. With his head unable to turn, his chances of escape will drop even further.

What to do with your hips as you move from cross side to north south, that will keep your opponent from getting the knee inside and re-establishing the guard.

Why you can do this relatively slowly if you have good technique. You don’t need to be fast. In fact, for effective jiu-jitsu, you barely need speed at all, if you have developed your timing, which is a totally different skill. Henry will explain all.

Why it’s very important you completely leave his body when you go to finish the choke. If any of your weight is on his body or chest, and not directly on his neck, you are wasting energy.

Where to keep your non-choking hand so he can’t follow you and escape.

Triangle Choke

The first thing you should do with your leg to make sure your leg and foot are in the right position.

How to make an extremely powerful connection to your opponent’s neck with the Triangle Choke. This one detail will change your understanding of the triangle forever.

The two motions you need to apply pressure perfectly.

Why you should never lift your hips when you go for the triangle and what to do instead.

Why the common triangle defense, where they wrap their inside arm around your hip, won’t be a problem for you when you understand how to apply pressure. In fact, that defense will be worthless, and you will easily move right through it.

Why you never want to stretch your opponent away when you go for the triangle.

Why the triangle choke is one of the fundamentals you want to perfect, and why you actually have most of what you need to get your black belt when you’re a blue belt, in terms of techniques.

Cross Collar Choke Second Hand Going Under

[No preview - too many spoilers!]

Why I believe this is one of the most misunderstood chokes in all of jiu-jitsu.

How It is SUCH an effective tool when it’s done properly.

The most important element in EVERY choke, and how to apply this element with the cross-collar choke to make it wickedly effective!

Why you don’t need a deep grip… in fact, when you understand the critical element of this choke, you can get away with an awful grip, and still be insanely effective.

The slight motion you need to master to make this effortless… this is one of the keys that will let you get away with having an awful grip.

What to do with your legs to take this already insanely effective method to a whole new level.

How to connect to your opponent’s neck without changing your grip.

A very good reason you should use your legs to pull your opponent to you when you do this choke.

Why you should first master this choke without using your legs to pull your opponent in.

Why your opponent posturing up will not work as a defense to the cross collar, when you understand how to apply pressure effectively. He can posture all he wants, he’s still going to sleep.

A sneaky set up, that includes baiting your opponent to pass, and how to get them to walk right into the trap. This is so easy, yet so effective, I dare you to NOT want to run to the gym to try this out immediately.

Cross Collar Choke with Second Hand Going Over

[No preview - too many spoilers!]

When to use the overhand grip and when to use the underhand grip, and why.

What the real goal of the overhand grip is. (Hint: it actually has nothing to do with grippping!)

How you can easily finish this choke with an awful grip when you know the hidden details.

What to do with your elbow, with the overhand grip, to make the cross-collar finish totally effortless for you, and a freaking nightmare for your opponent

The simple set-up to make this choke nearly impossible to defend (all you have to do is turn your shoulders just so, and your opponent is already in deep trouble).

Why you should not pull your elbows out to tighten this choke. It’s actually the exact opposite of what you want to do, because of what happens to your hands when you do that. Here’s what to do instead.

Two important reasons you should always relax when you train jiu-jitsu.

How tensing up will make you blind to important windows of opportunity, and screw up your timing.

BONUS: 56 minutes of live Q & A to make sure EVERYTHING is covered, and you have everything you need to make this easy!

So how much will it cost to learn this incredible knowledge?

Usually, in order to get this much in-depth, focused instruction on one topic, you're going to have to pay for a seminar or private lesson.

And, if you were to take a private lesson with me at my gym, it would cost $350.00 an hour. With my schedule lately, we'd be lucky if we could get a single hour together in the next month.

And even then, you’d have to either live near the gym, or be able to travel here. Depending how far you are, that could mean gas money, or flight and hotel, plus whatever other expenses to make it happen like food, wi-fi, whatever. Now we’re talking hundreds of dollars on top of the cost of the private lesson itself.

Not to mention, for me to learn this stuff, I had to give up everything and everyone I knew back in Oklahoma, 22 years ago, and move out to L.A, where I knew no one.

Then I had to find a new place to live, a new job, and completely rebuild my life in a new place. Since then, I've focused on little else besides perfecting this material and how to teach it best. For years, I would show up to the gym from 7AM - 7PM Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 7AM - 9PM Tuesday and Thursday. This knowledge did not come to me cheap. I've paid a hefty price, and loved every minute of dedicating myself 100% to this beautiful art.

Plus, there’s just no way we could cover all of the material included in this course in a single private lesson. Or even a couple private lessons. With private lessons, it would cost thousands of dollars to get through all this.

Of course, there’s something to be said from learning in person. It’s true, there are elements and information you pick up when you get to feel the techniques, that can’t be transmitted by video.

Even so, after consulting my business partner, we thought the fair price for this information was easily $199.

New Price: $199 $59

But then I thought about it, and why I'm doing this in the first place. So I ran the numbers as many different ways as I could, and we decided on $59, because that is absolutely as low as I can go while still being able to pay my bills and keep the gym open. I plan on releasing more of these Mind Blown Club Archives courses, so hopefully we can make up the difference in quantity...

It might not be the most lucrative business decision, but I have made it my life's mission to share this knowledge with as many people as I can, and few things make me happier than when people write in and tell me stories about how this knowledge has totally changed their jiu-jitsu life.

I want that for you too, no matter where you're at with your budget.

2 Important Reasons You Should Get These Videos Now Instead Of Waiting

Placeholder Image

There are no immediate plans to raise the price. However, there are still two reasons you should get your copy as soon as humanly possible.

1. Only perfect practice makes perfect. The way muscle memory works, especially in stressful situations like fighting, is you fight how you train. Every time you attempt any of the chokes listed above, your nervous system builds what are called myelin sheaths – to strengthen the neural pathways of that particular movement.

There are literally physical structures – grooves- in your brain and nervous system that become stronger and stronger the more you practice something.

In other words, every time you practice something the wrong way, you’re making it more and more difficult to learn the right way, digging the hole deeper and deeper, building bad habits. Why not just learn how to do these techniques the effective, efficient way from day one?

2. We only have so much time. We all have limited training time, especially for those who don’t make a career out of fighting.

And because our time is limited, it’s very important we spend it on quality training. As far as Jiu-Jitsu is concerned, this material is the best I’ve found, and I’ve been at this game a long time.

Every minute that goes by where you train these chokes without effectiveness or efficiency, is a wasted, counter-productive minute.

What Are You Waiting For?

Imagine one year from now, after you’ve mastered this material and your finishes for each of these chokes are almost effortless.

How amazing will it feel to know, at least as far as these chokes are concerned, you’re about as good as anyone can be at finishing with maximum effectiveness and efficiency, having learned directly from the source? And this one download was the start of it all.

Or imagine a year from now, what will happen if you don’t invest in this knowledge. That’s an entire year you could have been perfecting the purest jiu-jitsu in the world. Wasted. Gone forever.

I hope that’s not you.

If you're ready to get your copy of the Mind Blown Archives Year 1: Chokes download, and begin your journey to becoming a master of effective and efficient chokes, then click the yellow button below right now.

As soon as you do, you will be given lifetime access to the material.

That’s it guys.

Can’t wait to hear about how this knowledge changes your whole chokes game!
