I am going to be sharing a few free technique videos with you over the next week about some of the most powerful discoveries I had being Rickson Gracie's number one student for many years.

Back in 1995 when I finally packed my bags and headed out west to train under the legend it was about discovering for myself what REAL MARTIAL ARTS were all about.

As with everyone else my eyes had been opened to the power of Jiu Jitsu with the UFC in the early 90’s and coming from Oklahoma I was familiar with wrestling but realized it’s limitations as a martial art.

Leaving my family in Oklahoma to go learn Jiu Jitsu with Rickson in Los Angles was one of the most difficult decisions of my life.

There were a lot of reasons NOT to go and stay safe. 

One was my HOT blond haired blue eyed beautiful girlfriend who was very sad I was leaving.. as you can image she was difficult to walk away from.

But, I was hungry to become a great martial artist and fighter and there was a fire inside me I couldn’t ignore.

And, even though I was young, I realized that to reach your true potential, sometimes you have to make hard choices.

So I finally built up the courage and went to Los Angeles to discover the secrets of this mythical like creature that would end up becoming like a mentor and change my life forever.

Even at that point in the Stone Ages of 1995, Rickson was already known as a god among men.

And even though I didn’t realize it at the time, what made Rickson so different was his deeps understanding of the CONCEPTS of Jiu Jitsu and applying them with simple effective techniques.

In this New Free Video (filmed at an exclusive private seminar I offered in Costa Rica) I break down one of those concepts and a power escape technique that comes directly from Rickson’s playbook and uncanny ability to understand and teach the concepts that make Jiu Jitsu work so well.
