How to make your techniques seamless.
When your opponent has time to rest or think, it's easy for them to counter you.
However, when you begin to make your techniques seamless, your movements become a non-stop, overwhelming tidal wave of information...
That eventually they can't keep up with.

Remember, these VIP previews are about more than just the technique you see.
I want you to think about how you can use this exact same principle in a different situation not filmed here.
The principle is: how can you tighten up your movements or change them, to anticipate their next reaction?
It's like in chess, how you think a couple moves ahead, anticipating what they will do.
For example, take a cross side escape, or a guard pass, or a sweep and ask yourself these questions:
1. After you perform the technique, what situation will you be in after?
2. From that new situation, what options does your opponent have and what are the likely reactions?
3. Finally, now that you're considering what they're going to do 1 or 2 moves ahead, how can you prepare for those possibilities ahead of time?
All 3 of these questions only take a couple seconds to ask and explore, but doing this consistently, even just once a day will exponentially grow your understanding of Jiu-Jitsu over time.
